Indian film manufacturer Cosmo First has reinforced its commitment to workplace health and safety with the achievement of ISO 45001:2018 certification across key manufacturing units, including Waluj, Shendra and Karjan, according to Business News This Week.
The certification recognises the company's robust Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems and its adherence to globally benchmarked processes designed to ensure a safe and secure working environment across its manufacturing footprint.
At its Waluj manufacturing facilities in Maharashtra, the certification covers the design, development, marketing and manufacturing of a wide range of films including BOPP (multiple lines), BOPET, CPP films, along with metallising, coating and extrusion coating processes for diverse applications.
The Shendra unit in Maharashtra is certified for the design, development, marketing and manufacturing of BOPP films through biaxial orientation processes, including metallising, coating and extrusion coating, catering to various end-use applications. The Karjan facility in Gujarat certification covers the manufacturing of BOPP films, CPP films, along with metallising, lamination and coating processes.
