CSP’s David Nichol appointed to NI health and safety board

David Nichol, a trade union organiser with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), has been appointed to the board of the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI). He became the first trade union representative on the board in some time, aiming to strengthen workers' voices in health and safety governance. Nichol brings extensive experience from his time in the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and as a union safety lead.
